At BC Clark, Black Friday is Family Friday
For well over a century, family and tradition have been at the heart of what BC Clark represents. That’s why we chose to turn Black Friday into Family Friday.
In 2016, we made the bold move to close our stores on what is referred to as “the biggest shopping day of the year.” We instead choose to honor our employees by giving them an extra paid day off to spend with family.
Family Friday also serves as a reminder for people everywhere to put family first on a day that has become increasingly focused on commercialism.
We’ve been overwhelmed by the huge amount of positive responses from our customers and the community. So we continue our Family Friday tradition each year.
