You Could Be Praying For Rain!
If it rains an inch or more on your wedding day in OKC, your ring could be free!
In 1998, looking to turn Oklahoma’s temperamental weather into a source of good cheer, we asked our couples to Pray for Rain on their wedding day. Our promise was that if it rained one inch or more in OKC on their wedding day, their ring would be free!More than two decades later, more than 300 couples have had their prayers answered, and we’ve given away over a million dollars because of it.
Pray for Rain Details
The original purchaser of a diamond engagement ring from BC Clark Jewelers is entitled to a full refund (excluding sales tax) of the purchase price of that ring, up to a maximum of $10,000, if rainfall (or snowfall) on the wedding day for which the ring was purchased measures one inch or more at any of our official locations of measurement.
To qualify for the refund, a certificate must be signed and completed at least 15 days prior to the wedding. As well, the wedding must take place a maximum of two years after the purchase of the ring, and a minimum of 15 days after the purchase of the ring.
Rainfall is measured at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City and by Oklahoma Mesonet at two metro locations during the twenty-four-hour period of midnight to midnight on the day of the wedding.
