The SLGB023 brings together compact dimensions, technical precision, and evocative design inspired by the tides surrounding Japan. Its gradient blue dial captures the depth of the open ocean, while the Ushio wave pattern adds texture and character, reflecting light as it moves across the surface. Diamond-cut rectangular indexes and broad hour and minute hands enhance legibility, even underwater, while the 120-click unidirectional ceramic bezel complements the dial’s hue.
At the heart of the watch is the Spring Drive Caliber 9RB1, Grand Seiko’s most accurate mainspring-powered movement, achieving ±20 seconds per year. Featuring a vacuum-sealed oscillator, thermo-compensated IC, and an offset magic lever for efficient winding, it provides three days of power reserve and the precision expected of a U.F.A. designation.
Encased in High-Intensity Titanium at 40.8mm diameter and 12.9mm height, the Ushio Blue combines strength and lightness. Its Evolution 9 ergonomic design and newly developed extension clasp with micro-adjustment ensure comfort and versatility, whether on land or in the water.
